An Arduous Journey | Final Major Project

A three month final year project using illustrative drawings and infographic design to reveal the effects of urbanisation on the population of migratory geese. I set out to create two infographic poster designs showing both the relevant information based on the research and characteristics of all 13 geese needed to create a rounded understanding of the project.
Research Book |  Pocket Guide | Scrapbook
Imagery was a major part of the project. Photographs taken all over England and Canada exploring goose habitat and stop over points, experiencing their environment to get a greater understanding of the different breeds.
Characteristic Chapter | A section given purely on displaying 13 geese and their characteristics accompanied by map imagery on their breeding, wintering and all year round grounds.

Silver paper print/ Laserjet
A clearer idea on the overall effect of urbanisation, each page of tracing paper reveals how certain subects cover the map

A scrapbook of my developmental work, processes and research sources.
App Design | Indended for a magazine use, showcasing the research using a different form of communication.
Information Designs | An infographic design revealing the perils of goose migration. Each percentage listed is the percentile risk of a single goose within its breed being killed by the named risk based on its migratory patterns.
